One-to-One Voice Therapy

The voice is not just a means of communication; it is the very manifestation of our human condition. A sound therapy treatment with voice offers a deeply intimate holding space for personal exploration and growth. Each tone expressed by the voice carries with it the richness of human experience, inviting you to listen deeply, engage with your own emotions, and tune in to the very core of your being.

I offer two ways of working with the voice:

1)    Passive treatments

In a passive voice session, I will invite you to lie down and listen as I deliver a sequence of different toning practices that will help you relax and surrender to the sound of my voice. A key element of my practice is the use of overtones—harmonic frequencies that add depth and complexity to the vocal sound. These overtones will gently stretch your system, creating the potential for physical and emotional release that can be profoundly transformative.

2)    Active treatments

In an active voice session, you will be using your own voice as I guide you through different activities known as ‘vocal processing techniques’. By integrating movement and breathwork with vocalization, we will tap into the body's natural rhythms and energies. This process encourages you to follow the ‘crumbs’ set out by your personal experience, leading you to deeper insights and clarity about your inner landscape.

In the journey of self-discovery, it’s natural to encounter resistances—those barriers that prevent you from fully expressing yourself or realizing your potential. Throughout our sessions, I will provide a safe framework that helps you gently confront these resistances so that you can express and release what no longer serves you.
